About me...

I'm Miranda, a UX/UI designer who loves art, technology and life. I have a  bachelor's degree in Hispanic Literature, but my love for design and technology led me to specialize in UX/UI.

I am passionate about creating functional and intuitive designs for users. I also like to read poetry and eat pasta.

Illustrations

Oráculo de hechizos

I illustrated 44 cards for the book Oráculo de hechizos. During this proyect I collaborated with Julieta Suárez Valente, an Argentine influencer who has dedicated her life to astrology and animals rights.

Book Covers

I have had the opportunity of making book covers for publishing houses Editorial Trajin, Fondo Blanco Editorial, and Editorial del Instituto Cultural de Aguascalientes

Illustrations for magazines

I have had the opportunity to make plenty of illustrations for several magazines as Tierra Adentro (Secretaria de Cultura), Casa del tiempo (Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana), and Círculo de Poesía.

Most of my illustrations are made with digital collage. This allows me the opportunity to create new things with old pictures.

Take a look at my collages here.

Photography

Photo of Adiós marineros, adiós monstruos del mar.

Portrait of actor Sonia Franco.

Photo of El amor de las luciérnagas.

As a photographer I have had the opportunity of doing media coverage for a variety of plays, such as Adiós marineros, adiós monstruos del mar; El amor de las luciérnagas;Texel/Texas and more.

I have also shot street photography, particularly from demonstrations. Some of them have been featured in Tierra Adentro magazine from Mexico's Secretaria de Cultura.

I have always believed that photography is one of the best manifestations of art. My main influences are the works of Nacho López and Graciela Iturbide.
