Ux Case Study
The brief
During my UX/UI Bootcamp at Ironhack, I had The National Wellness Institute as a client. This company commissioned me to create an application aimed to people who had sleep problems.
In addition, the company needed that the app offered to users an option that would allow them to upload their data and share it with a health professional, so it was vitally important to take this into account once the ideation process began.

Secondary research
At this stage it was found that "approximately 10% of adults in developed societies have chronic insomnia. The problem increases with age". Also, some studies have detected a relationship between the consumption of vegetables and quality sleep.
This information was very important, since it showed us that sleep disorders in people are a reality, so there is a potential market for our future application.
Surveys
Of the 22 surveys carried out, it was discovered that many of those surveyed suffered from sleep disturbances, while 61.9% confessed that they did not use applications related to insomnia, as they found them very expensive.
Interviews
At this stage, a total of five people were interviewed. One of the questions that was addressed was: Which function would you like to find in the application. Given this, 33-year-old Alma responded as follows:
"I would like advice and tips that tell you how to sleep well.
Insights
At the end of the investigation, it was found that one of the main reasons why people did not use sleep applications was because of the cost and complexity.
User Persona
Thanks to the above data, we were able to get the top user of our app.
The Problem
It was discovered that a lot of people have problems related to insomnia, which ends up affecting the productivity and the health in general.

A closer relationship between doctor and patient
By completing your personal information, the application will give you the option of sending your data to a doctor specialized in the subject. The app will also provide you with information about your potential doctor, so you will be able to find out their license and specialization.
Video
After interacting with the design, users highlighted its clarity and sophistication. They also mentioned that the application inspired them with confidence, as it provided them with information about the doctor who was going to treat them.
