UX Case Study

The Brief

The present project exposes a Web Design propotition for The Witchy Store, an esoteric electronic shop that sells all kind of witchy accesories. It is worth noting that The Witchy Stores is owned by Marco Nava, an important influencer in the witchy world.

UX Research

Basing us on the Design Thinking model, my team and I spent part of the first week empathizing with the user's needs and the context in which our product was found. As a result of this research, we found out that most of the clients of The Witchy Store are women. Also, we learned that most of the clients are in the range of 30 years old. This results can be seen in the picture below:

User persona

Thanks to the above data, we were able to get the perfect user for our website:

Site Map

As a result of the information already copilated, my team and I decided to start organizing the website's information. For this goal, we decided to do a card sorting, which ultimately led us to this site map:

Mid Fidelity Wireframes

Due to the nature of the project, my team and I decided to elaborate the next  Mid Fidelity Wireframes, which were intended to be as simple as posible, but with one main goal: being functional for the user.

Result

At the end of this process, my colleagues and I created The Witchy Store, an intuitive website that leads the consumer to the most demanded product. Watch the high fidelity prototype below:

Next Steps

  • Continue developing the product categories because the client explicitly told us that he wanted to add new items for future sale.

  • Strengthen the relationship of the brand with the personal account of the client.
